Disney-owned movie app MoviePass is moving to gifing app Facebook after it moved to Instagram.
MoviePass, a photo-sharing app, has been acquired by Facebook.

The move to Facebook Movie Pass comes as it continues to work to boost its social media presence.
It said the move will help expand the app’s reach and improve the user experience.
“We are thrilled to bring MoviePass to Facebook, a platform that’s proven itself as the ultimate social platform, for the benefit of our community of users and friends,” Facebook Chief Marketing Officer Alex Karpeles said in a statement.
“Our goal with MoviePass will be to deliver the best possible experiences to our community, and to build on the strengths we’ve built with our apps over the past two years.”
